CYPULL core pulling locking cylinder

The CyPull core locking cylinder greatly simplifies the manufacturing of tools and molds, as it allows for precise positioning of sliders and cores. Even under high cavity pressure, they do not require additional locking mechanisms as they come with integrated form locking devices that provide clamping forces far exceeding the required movement force.

The compact structure allows for complex motion processes to be achieved in a very small space. Smaller structural dimensions can be used in application environments with higher clamping forces. The cylinder demonstrated its ability in this challenging task.

In the CP-HR-P1 product series core locking cylinder, the system rigidity is maximized through pre tightening. When the piston rod reaches the terminal position, the locking slider moves in the opposite direction to the stroke of the piston rod and presses the locking section into the groove of the piston rod. In the CP-HR-L1 product series, the locking section is fixed in both radial and axial positions, allowing the piston rod to be locked in a form fit manner. For the product series CP-HR-P1, locking is achieved through force fit. In both cases, hydraulic pressure can be interrupted. The piston rod retracts by applying pressure on the rod side.

The CyPull core locking cylinder is equipped with electronic status and quality control sensors. Cylinders can be integrated into Industry 4.0 applications through I/O link interfaces. Along with the CyBlock product line of block cylinders, the CyPull locking cylinder covers the entire range of applications in tool and mold manufacturing.
